As some may have noticed, I have been conspicuous by my absence this week, and sadly missed our second anniversary on 14th August. This is because I have been away on business at the company's Birkenhead office, and had no opportunity to log in. Anyway whilst at Birkenhead I have been enjoying the delights of BBC Radio Merseyside, and in particular the Billy Butler Show, broadcast weekdays from 2pm. His daily comedy slot 'The Bradshaws' was very amusing, and very reminiscent of The Clitheroe Kid, and helped to break up a very busy week. UK members can listen to a rather amusing anectdote by clicking on this BBC iPlayer link.... www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/merseyside.shtmlThis loads the live feed but if you select the Thursday edition of the Billy Butler Show and go to time index 16:20 minutes, you will find the clip in question. There is nothing like this on our local Linconshire stations and I just wondered if there are any other good regional radio programmes out there?
