If you get an Email from "Greetingscard.org" saying you have an e-card with no sender or a name you do not know DO NOT, DO NOT use the web link. Its just taken me 2 days , three Norton sweeps and a Disk Check to clean my system and get back to normal. Having been in the industry for 30+ years and at my age you'd think I'd have more bloody sense. The trouble is that the name is a legitimate organisation that sends out electronic greeting cards. But they always include the senders name in their emails to the receiver.

That's quite an old one now Fozzie, I'm surprised at you!!! The ones I'm getting hit with loads of time a day at the moment are the CNN news feeds and MSNBC Breaking News. About 4 an hour at the moment and as each address is different the blocker is taking it's time getting the hang of them I'm affraid I work the other way around now that I delete anything I don't know who it's from instantly. If it's that important, they can phone or write to me and I ask for peoples email address to add to the safe senders first. It usually works better. Sad init. ;D

Amo. I could not believe how stupid I was. With half of me knowing what was going to happen, I just carried on. I'm getting that CNN rubbish but not on the frequency you are.

Well all get caught sometimes. Just don't forget to do a stand alone system back up regularly and keep it safe eh?!?!?!

I had that one too Foz - I don't respond unless I know the sender, so it went straight to delete (boy am I glad that none of the Grandkids use my PC )

If you look beside each email listed in your 'Inbox' you should see a box (they are to the left of our list), if you click on the box beside the email you want to get rid of a tick or something similar should appear. Above your emails there should be a line of commands such as 'delete', 'save' etc... click on delete and the email should disappear. I have an aol and a bt account and they both work in very similar ways so hopefully yours will too Barbara.

In outlook I just right click, delete. Or once click, to highlight, and click the cross on the toolbar or delete on the keyboard.

I've had one of those Jenny and although I remembered the name of the person who was supposed to be wanting to make contact I didn't answer the email. Rotten, I suppose if someone really did want to try and make contact. I wonder if it is something like Friends Reunited?

I've had a few saying someone I've never heard of wants to be my friend on Facebook. I delete them straight away. Gotta be weirdos
