It will look like the earth has 2 moons.
The next time Mars may come this close is in year 2287.

ooops! I completely forgot where I'd put this post.
Thanks everyone. It did make me wonder when I saw who the message had come from in my email. Let's just say, the usual reply is one with a link to Snopes. I have to admit, I forgot to look anyway, so at least I wasn't peering up at the sky in vain!

Shame it wasn't true, could have been quite spectacular!
