Not one for wanting to spend more than I have to I use Alan Romans. However I have found another site, it appears to have a similar pricing strategy ie 0.50p with little or no P&P. They also seem to have a policy of max 50 seeds per packet. This does make them on a 1 2 1 basis a little dearer. They do however have some items not carried by AR so I thought I'd used them as a "filler" The sight is www.moreveg.net/Has anyone used them and are they kosher? Foz ps. This iPlayer is a good idea whie I've been crashing around t'internet comparing sites and prices I have been catching up on me missed Proms. Mrs F not too keen you see and you know me always one to give in to femine charm.....

Just an update, I spent £6.90 on 12 packets ranging from 0.90p - 0.50p no PP and they arrived 48 hrs after ordering. So far so good. If the quality of seed is as good as the order/delivery, then no complaints

How did I miss this thread great to find a site that doesn't swamp you with 100's of seeds and has a good selection too. I've had a quick look at the carrots and there are a few short varieties that look like they'd be ok for tubs, always a plus in my book I normally use The Real Seed Site and odd packs of Wilco seeds, I've added Moreveg to my faves folder for future reference ;D

I've just put in an order with Plants of Distinction www.plantsofdistinction.co.uk/index.htmlI don't know how they compare on price, probably up a bit, but they did have a few of the varieties that I was after all under one roof. The Half Pint pea, Ideal Red and Rainbow carrots and, from their seemingly endless tomatoes, John Baer, Peron and Japanese Trifle Black. They carry some wonderful and unusual varieties and I've just read their front page again and I might just have to have another dip in..... Oh PS, only downside. If you place an order, print it off before you close the screen. The conformation e-mail doesn't come with a list of what you have bought.
