I really enjoy this board....but find it really difficult to spend time joining in. There is sooooo much to do around the garden and in the house and in between I have to eat and sleep. How do you manage it? I am beginning to think I inhabit 'slow land' and someone or something keeps stealing my time....... I really wish I could knit time. Someone tell me how.... FFx

I will look for a pattern for you FF ;D I only do things in the house if it is raining, (apart from washing and cooking of course!) The rest has to wait for me to decide that the dust is thick enough to make it worth getting the duster out I believe we should all do what makes us happy in life (within reason) - and for me that is not housework! Oh it's quite simple FF, I make a point of spending a bit of time at the computer while I'm having breakfast, and I leave the computer on all day and on the occasions when I walk past I click to see if there are any new messages. If there are I spend a moment checking them and sometimes responding. ;D

I guess everyone is in the same boat......its interesting how everyone finds the time to go on their computers. I think I better take a lesson from Tig, it makes sense and its a good excuse for keeping up to date on GWD. Do less housework! If you did find a pattern Tig I spose it would take time to knit so defeat the object? FFx

I don't get as much time here as I'd like. I get on every now and then and usually read lots of posts and answer a few! Wish I had more time really as there are so many nice people here and it is so friendly (unlike some parenting boards I have been on ) Jardack

It seems a shame that parenting boards are unfriendly.....how can people parent if they aren't friendly. Children learn by example, don't they? FF

FF You would think so wouldn't you, but believe me some of the rows on there... There are 1 or 2 subject guranteed to start a row everytime they are posted! Much friendlier here

Jenny; perhaps people are trying to shock?..... I am not a prude and swear from time to time. I think though, alot of swearing demonstrates lack of imagination and possibly intelligence as people can't think of other words to use. FF
