Just been reading back at my garden thread and noticed that you'd asked about the growpots I'd used in my greenhouse... Well, from my totally (un)scientific trial of growing two cucumber plants side by side one with and one without said pots.... the one with the pot produce lots and lots more cucumbers than the other one Both plants were a similar size but there were more on the plant in the pot. OOee Jardack, Just like me to totatalllytotally missssssss this thread. Well I found it now ;D That funny growpot works then even though to all good things comes an end. Without it you would have had to buy your not home grown cucumbers a lot sooner. Success proven. Do you think it was because watering ( and vertilizing )was more concentrated with that grow pot? Also as these pots are very expensive out here how long do you think it will last? It seems not the worse for wear in this startup pic but what was it like as you removed the plant? Dutchy

I assume it did better as it had more water as it was able to "hold" some each time I watered...
It still looks good! There is no signs of falling apart or anything so I would expect it to last for a good few years.
Hopefully as more places start selling them the price will come down too!

I suppose the more people start buying them the cheaper they will get in the end. Fingers crossed as it seems a good one.
