Those that were sowing some for December.... Mine are growing well - they've had plenty of water The big dustbin is now full with compost so can't earth them up anymore - just hope I get a good haul from them! Jardack

I think the clay was too heavy and we had torrential rain Jardack.You would not believe how awful they smelled. I'll try next year and add some compost to the soil to make it a bit better.

I'm really not sure Jardack, I'd like to but I'll have to see. I've been doing a lot of experimenting this year and hope to do more next year, both flowers and veg. I put my name down months ago for an alotment as space is a big problem with me. Even running out of space for containers.

Its been a bad year for spuds ive lost loads of things not just spuds its been 2 wet or they have had horribble black slugs in trhem yuk yuk
