Does anyone have any idea what any of these might be: Spotted along the Cornish coast Taken at Cotehele garden, the flowers were soft and furry A flower that has come up from a packet of RSPB wild flower seeds. Also included a picture of the leaf in case that helps. And lastly, this little chap in my garden yesterday Many thanks xx

Hi Bagpuss Your moth is a Herald, very nice photos ;D The caterpillar I've yet to find, but will keep looking (unless someone else knows of course!) I'll leave the plants to those more knowledgable than I x Tig

The second and third are Salvia leucantha. Not hardy and they have the disadvantage of flowering quite late. I grow them and mine is just coming into flower. Thanks for reminding me I must take some cuttings to overwinter in the G/H.

The yellow flower looks like those you have in hanging baskets, now what are they called. Begins with a B It'll come to me at some point
