Hi all
Just wanted to let you know ive handed in my notice today, as a midday supervisor and a cleaner.
I will still be working in the same school but have got more hours i will be helping the cook in the kitchen.
I will start at 10.15 and finish at 1 monday to friday, and i will still be off with my son.
I had thought about the job before but did not apply as i was told it was taken.
I had to make a quick decision that day and i got the job.
I wolnt be able to get to the lottie as much but i can still help with the gardening club after work.
Im looking forward to it and ive been told im lucky as this type of job does not come up very often.

Ive been offered some cleaning work from a person at work 3 hrs a week cash in hand £7 an hour ive said yes going next week to see the house and find out what she wants me to do, im going to be so busy need to do myself a schedule ;D

Its my last day tomorrow and im feeling a bit sad, i know i will still be in the same school but i will miss the kids im looking after.
The last lot i had were awfull playing up all the time hurting each other, but the ones im looking after now are adorable there are some real treasures, i know i will still see them.
I went in to work at 10 today to shadow the person im taking over from so i would have an idea of what i will be doing on monday, it was good and it is pretty straight forward i am looking forward to it, by the end of next week i will be up to full speed and know exactly what ive got to do.

Its been a very emotional day today.
After i finished work 2 pf the children came up to me 1 had a card they had all made the other had a bunch of flowers, i burst into tears i was so touched by it, i told them i would not be looking after them anymore but i would see them on monday in my new job.
I then went into the kitchen were everyone was saying there goodbyes to jo then myself and her had to go into assembly.
We had to sit infront of the whole school and we watched a dvd that the children had made earlier in the week for the lollypop lady that has retired.
A little speech was given by one of the teachers saying thank you for all we had done, then we were asked to stand up infromt of the whole school and 2 of the nursery children came over amd we were presented with a bunch of flowers each.
We both then said thankyou for the flowers and said that we had enjoyed looking after them.
After that we both burst into tears again and left.
I was not expecting anything as i was not leaving the school but just doing a different job, i was touched by what had happened and it was nice to be apreciated

They obviously thought a lot of you in your "old" role. I think that's lovely and I am filling up thinking about it!  Good luck in your "new" role! It must be nice not to have to go to a completely new place to start a new job! |

It is nice and i know i will see them again, it was so thoughtfull of them to do something likr that.
I will still see them when they finally get the raised beds up and running.

Day 3 of the new job and its going well we were infront today and had chance to relax for a bit.
I know what i am needed to do now and im settling in to it realy well and im enjoying it, i was tired on monday but have got used to it now.
