Very well done Isabella, well deserved and fabulous looking veg and I think you should enter next year if such a thing is on the Board.
Also, thank you to everyone who voted for my Asiatic lillies, I never ever expected to have a photo in the final poll, so I am really really chuffed.
(Loved your Cosmos Amo - that one got my vote!)
Lastly, and not least, a thank you to OM and RF for organising.

Well, they were all superior to anything I would have submitted, but I think we have a very worthy winner!  Isabellas displays are definitely an inspiration to me as a novice veg gardener, so well done Isabella, I'm really pleased for you.  Please don't be put off joining in again. I need to see achievements like that to keep me motivated. Well done everyone who took part, and congrats to admin for organising the comp.  |

Congratulations Isabella for winning the Best in Show on GWD, although I do not understand why you should say that you are "upset about some of the comments posted" and say "will I ever enter again".

Gosh you grow good veg you do.
Make my humble purple potatoes look rather small but hey I got a vote in the finals which is way beyond what I was expecting ;D
I don't think I will ever get as good as you though.

 Well done Isabella, your veg was smashing and you're a very worthy winner. Congrats and well done to everyone who entered. It was fun and great to see so many enteries. Thanks to those who arranged it all and provided the prizes. I too agree it would be good to have a veg and a flower/plant section next year. We'll all have to work twice as hard ;D |

Thanks Everyone ;D I think having two polls - one for flowers and one for veggies is a good idea Also not revealing the results until after the polls have closed Maybe there could be a little teach-in on how to prepare veggies for show and anything else people would like to know When you enter a Flower Show it is quite exciting going round the exhibits to see if you have won any prizes When our Sons were young they used to love going round the show before us - any prize money went towards a chinese take-away which was a real treat for them in those days |

I agree that there should be flower and veg categories, even if the comp is finally combined into one best in show item (saves on the prizes you see ). Not that I entered because I was too lazy to do so and had nothing worth showing anyway. May make a bit of an effort next year tho'. |

Well done Pam a great winner. Bagpuss your Lilies are beautiful what's the name of them please? I voted for them. Thanks to all for voting for my Dahlia and Tomato to get through to the final, I think we are all winners even though's that didnt get to the final. Well done to all the entrants and to Admin for putting on a jolly good show.  Bring on next year. |

 CONGRATULATIONS ISABELLAVery well deserved indeed. Your veg look lovely. Congratulations to all that entered too it was very hard to pick just five winners for each poll never mind 1 for the final. If RF and OM decide to run the competition next year we know what we're all up against. ;D Thank you also to all that voted for my basket of Sweet Potatoes, ( which were in fact Pink Fir Apple Pots.) I was as proud as punch ;D The Delphinium at dusk and the Cabbages under nets were also mine. Personally I was most proud of my Cabbages and so were the slugs and snails because they munched most of them.   Thanks again RF and OM for a great competition.  Alicat.x
