Brilliant Auricula well done. ;D Tig I'm useless at keeping records usually too but this year I've got a notebook and I'm trying to write at least the basics in it. ;D Spru keep the pics coming, it's great when you can see all stages of their long journey.

I haven't had chance to sow mine yet either Chuckles, don't fret!! I have a few of those washing tablet containers saved, I was going to use them as they are quite deep. Last years flowers, which are still going!!!!, were 25p B&Q rejects so I can't wait to see the comparison.

Mine are just stems, no leaves open yet - I have moved them higher up the mini-growhouse to get more light - I don't want them getting leggy!

Usually I would sow mine at the end of October for the same reason as FB. Then again so long as you keep pinching the tops out they will be ok.

Post by Chuckles on Oct 25, 2008 19:39:48 GMT
Not sown mine yet LNG I want to try and do a row like FB has done, smaller version obviously ;D scratching about trying to find a suitable spot in the garden though. I'm going to sow some straight into a deep plastic tub and leave it at the side of the shed/GH outside, come spring I'll put it inside an old wicker log basket because the tub has all writing on it.

Been so busy I haven't had chance yet. Looks like Chuckles and I could be back runners!! ;D I keep planning to do them Amo along with a few lot of other garden jobs but my saved seeds are still in the pods and left over seeds from last year still in the packets. I have sorted a tub out though and an old log basket to put it in for one SP display

Hurrah for Missy - I have leaves on the tops of the first pot to germinate - but only four seeds out of 8 have come up! In my second sowing I can see a few green specks appearing.
