This is a bit of an experiment. There's a lovely picture in this group of pictures, of the QE2 sailing under the Forth Rail Bride in Scotland on her farewell voyage. It's in one of the newspaper's here today. I tried posting only the picture of the QE2, but it didn't work so I'm going to try sending the web page of the package of pictures. Hope it works. But they've got serious money there, and they want to spend it.

Have you seen the developement of the properties shaped like a palm tree that go out into the sea - think David Beckham has one of them

Weather at the mo in Dubai will be just perfickt - the shops are dreadful tho - just many Malls like the Trafford Centre with outlets for Dorothy Perkins, M & S, Boots - you would think you were back in the UK

Dubai also has designer shops Jenny, and the most jewellery shops you'll find anywhere. A friend of mine used to go every year, before it became popular, and the jewellery she bought was gorgeous AND cheap.
