Looked at her companion and he had dissapeared.
Jakie stood alone in the spooky hotel shivering she looked out of the side window and saw the ghost ship mored in the bay she was realy scared now and went outside to investigate when all of a sudden...............

she heard the eerie hooting of an owl She looked up and there it was, in a tree, with the image of the Moon shining behind it Something didnt seem right about the owl.....  the eyes were strangly white and then she saw....... |

She shouted at him to RUN.... but he couldn't hear her, she was too afraid to go to him so she gestured to him to get away.......but it looked like he couldn't see or hear her.
Jackie fell to her knees and sobbed..was this all a dream or was she in the middle of a living nightmare?
Suddenly...............

a strange eerie glow lit up the bay - the galleon was illuminated in a shroud of ghoulish green light, the black water seemed to be bubbling, frothing, foaming as if something living was about to surface Petrified she .... |

ran inside and went up to the attic and locked the door.
She could see out to sea from the attic window.
She turned on the light but nothing happened she was in the dark .
The room only lit by moonight she felt something brush past her.
The room got strangley icy cold she strained her eyes to see what it was and she screamed when she saw..............

Jakie just watched the eirie shape and loooked out the window at were it went and saw this  She didnt know what was happening she longed for someone human to be there with her but alas she was alone all but for the unrested spirits. They all started to make their way up to the hotel.......... |

as lightning lit up the whole building. She thought she saw someone standing in the open doorway then she was in darkness again. She longed for lightning to strike again. Maybe someone crossed the water in another boat. Please let there be someone else here with me she thought. As she reached the door....

a howling gust of wind slammed it shut -- she fumbled, feeling for the handle in the blackness - another crack of thunder shook the hotel, she could feel tears of fear welling in her eyes! Her heart thumping she tugged with all her strength and suddenly .....

there was no door there at all,just a very brilliant light and a hand whose white slender finger was beckoning her to go inside.

She stepped forward, hardly breathing - the light was so bright, mesmerising .. she entered what seemed like a tunnel, and as she glided effortlessly toward the source she could see all the little faces staring back at her, all stood behind what looked like a garden gate .. she was drawn, she had no resistance, their hands were waving and she thought she heard her name being called in the distance .....

The man reunited with his son and Emilie they all new Jakie but what Jakie now new was this island was a ghost island no human had stepped on it in 100 years.
There had been a terrable storm a long time ago and killed everyone on the island.
Jakie was walking towards the old school were she had been a teacher many years ago.
She had only had a glimse of this life for a short time being the owner of the hotel but it couldnt last forever and all the island ghost had come back to claim jakie.
She was not sad because she saw a lot of freinds and family she new but it was nice while it lasted.
