Made me laugh. I wonder if the translator, who wasn't in the office, can speak English ;D Fancy e mailing back in Welsh to people who obviously did not understand the language or they wouldn't have needed a translator!

Most things here have to be bilingual, including email out of office replies, because they might go out to someone from the general public.
Everything that is customer facing in our office has to be bilingual and to be honest, it's a bit of a pain in the ass. People stop reading things properly because there's too much writing on the page.
