Watched it today. I must admit I find it more interesting than GW. Would love to spend an hour or two in Jim's company ... although I still can't work out how Carole can sound really Scottish one sentence and not the next

Thanks for the link Ladygardener, I just watched the snowdrop bit, it was really interesting! I'm not sure about yellow snowdrops myself - what do others think?

I liked the double Lady Elphinstone - not so keen on the singles. I seem to have lost my doubles this year!

I do quite like the yellow ones Jasmine but I'd never buy one as I still prefer the green ones. I did a right bit of moving stuff around in the garden last year and this year I don't have as many of any kind and no doubles either Tig. Perhaps they're there and will come back next year. I did think when I watched Beechgrove that Jim is looking really fresh, he's 82!!!!

Good to see Beechgrove back and lovely to see Jim again - I do enjoying seeing him and the rest of the team...shame that Beechgrove can't be an hour long - it would be well worth it!!
I actually do like the yellow Snowdrops, - not prepared to pay the price for one though!!
Just waiting for Monty now and then I can get on with watering the plants in the GH...

I didn't realise the wide leaves under my privets were snowdrops, I don't think they have ever flowered though.

Interesting feature on Gardeners World about no dig gardening. Heard about it before but not seen the process in this much detail before. It seems to make sense as well.

Ladygardener, Tig, maglonian, Jasmine, Rosefriend, Barbara, Ron, I'm not sure if anyone knows but ~Charlie Dimmock and the Rich brothers (young guys who won gold one year at Chelsea) have a new show called Garden Rescue. It's on BBC1 at 15.45hrs and repeated on BBC2 at 06.30hrs.

Had second thoughts about no dig as shown on Gardeners World. He used a lot of muchroom compost, when you include delivery it's an expensive way to do anything.

Yes I can well imagine Rosefriend. I often turn it off before he says his bit at the end anyhow.

I watched MD this morning , one of the gardens was Girverny but it wasnt as floriferous as when we were there a couple of years ago! It evidently wasnt the right time of year, i was impressed by the Norwegen garden that was lovely.

Pretty gutted as Filmon is no longer available - well, for free - only a 2 minute window and then you have to start again. Having read through the bumpf and the comments, even if you pay, Filmon isn't working and you don't get your money back. So, either I do the 2 minute window mess or I will have to find an alternative or...that's it!!

Wonderful, thanks Ladygardener,. I didn't realise they were on You Tube so quickly... Also found firstonetv.eu which shows live streaming from all over the world. Managed on there and there doesn't seem to be a payable version so it may be ok...

Good luck with that then Rosefriend, this morning that lovely young man was planting roses. I did wonder though why they had rhododendrons in a conservatory.

I thought Chatsworth looked good on GW last night, I've been there many many times, it's such a lovely place, I seem to remember the fountain is the highest in England, and they have steps that water flows down that plays musical notes due to the way they are spaced or something like that, we tried to get tickets to the RHS show but there was very limited availability, so we couldn't get a day when we weren't bowling in the evening, so it would have been a mad rush.
