In case you didn't receive the Crocus e-mail yesterday: - Taken any good snaps in the garden lately? Why not enter them into the International Garden Photographer of the Year competition? This wonderful showcase of all that is beautiful in our gardens is in its second year and we have teamed up with the organisers to try and make it more widely known. There are 7 categories from Plant portraits to Garden Views and up to £20,000 in cash to be won. It’s open to children and adults, amateurs and professionals. All finalists get exhibited at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew next summer. Crocus customers get a £3 discount off the normal £10 entry price if you enter before 31.12.08, so why not have a look at last year’s entries at www.igpoty.com and then put your name down. To claim your discount, enter code CRC08 when you get to the shopping basket bit. There is a wonderful ‘coffee table’ book with last year’s crop. This normally retails for £25, but you can buy it from us for £20. It would make a gorgeous Xmas gift.
