Well the brickwork is finished - yay! However when I had a look after the guys had gone there was a bit I wasn't happy with. The company doing the job were great and are sending a guy round to have a look, as well as check the work which they do anyway, and then hopefully they can tell me when the roof will go on. Which I have kind of assumed is the next phase!   |

Oooh, wouldn't be happy with that P, looks a bit dangerous. Otherwise it's looking fantastic! Would look even better with a clem climbing up that post  S x |

I'm not happy with it either Susie, and I'm glad you don't think I'm being fussy. It's right where the front door is going to be too!!! Anyway the bloke is supposed to be coming around tomorrow to see it and he will organise to have it rectified.
My clems are probably going to go up the far side, with the roses in front of the window. If there's room I'll just have to buy another clematis won't I??? ;D

Yes! Right the way around, and they are going to connect the guttering to my water butt which is hidden around the far side of the house!

Ahhh!!! No the guttering is going to go into my waterbutt one side, and there's a drain at the other side of the house as well. Well the Inspectors have just been and they agree that the drainage channel isn't acceptable so that will be rectified, but probably at the end of the job in case there are any other things that need to be tittivated (oops I bet Sleepy spots that!!! ). And they are going to ring me to tell me what happens next, and when. |
