Half a Brioche loaf 2 - 3 ozs sugar 3 eggs half pint of double cream half pint full cream milk 3 - 4 tablespoons sultanas or raisins Butter a pie dish Slice the brioche and cut into triangles put a layer of the bread in the pie dish Scatter over most of the sultanas Arrange the remainder of the bread on top Warm the cream and milk - do not boil! beat the eggs with the sugar Pour milk and cream onto eggs and sugar Strain mixture over the bread and press down gently so that the bread soaks up the mixture Scatter over the remaining sultanas Bake for 40 - 45 minutes at gas no.4 YUM! YUM!

At first glance I thought 'aha a low calorie pud' - then I spotted the double cream and full-fat milk ;D
That looks gorgeous - OH would be drooling (better not show him though and raise his expectations!)
