At about 9pm (ish) last night I saw three hovering red lights in the sky - they were stationary for a while and then moved around - they lasted about 5 mins and one by one they seemed to zoom back out into the sky - the sky was dark and cloudy at the time so they were quite close to earth
I googled it this morning and someone had taken a video - here are two reports only - did anyone else see them ?
There are many videos sim to this on youtube - this is what I saw last night but only three

Reader Maxine Owen spotted the now infamous three triangular lights as she picked up her daughter from her mother's house on Crosnewydd Road at the Coedpoeth to Wrexham junction on Sunday evening.
Her eyewitness account is the latest in a string of UFO sightings across the county in recent weeks, almost all of which report seeing the triangle formation of lights moving very slowly across the sky.
She said: "As I approached the traffic lights on Crosnewydd road at the Coedpoeth to Wrexham junction I could see a beautiful crescent moon in the sky ahead of us, I then noticed three red lights in a perfect triangle shape to the left of the moon.
"Just as I was wondering what they were my fiance asked if I just seen the three red lights.

At approximately 8:20 PM Arizona time 4 bright red lights hovered in the night sky. The lights moved creating several different shapes for around 7-8 minutes before 1 by 1 disappearing. The last light left much slower than the others moving upward until it was gone

Jenny, on new years eve, we all went out to watch the fireworks in the street, and we saw 5 round red lights in the sky, there were 7 of us,and, some were even sober, (so not pink elephants).

JW, did it freak you out a bit? Over the years there've been so many sightings of strange unexplained lights in the sky. Don't know what I'd do if I ever saw one.

Only thing that a night club would be putting into the sky are laser lights onto the clouds for example.

This was mentioned on the local BBC news programme this evening and someone phoned in to say that the lights were from paper lanterns released into the air to celebrate New Year.

I was here FB. But I was in the kitchen. OH was on the pc. You should have gone on MSN and given him a nudge. He has no idea about such things and would have thought there was an earthquake. ;D Sorry, didn't mean to muscle in on your thread Jen. But if you have a few too many then stop at traffic lights you're bound to see more than one. (CALM DOWN IT WAS A JOKE, IT WAS A JOKE )

Towards the back end of last year I and daughters boyfriend saw a red light down the other end of the Res, we where watching TV when I saw this light over the moor just still in the sky, I nudged him and pointed so we watched it for a few minutes then it just vanished as though someone had just turned it off? I have seen it a few times before so dont think it was lanterns. I was'nt scared or anything just interested to know what it is. We both don't think it was a plane or anything like that as it was not flashing or anything. Dont worry Jen if they wanted to invade us I'm sure they would have done it years ago. I think they are just watching us to see if we are worthy of a meeting. If I where them I would'nt come and visit here as there is too much killing and fighting on this planet.

I have seen funny lights in the sky, but that wind turbine thing really freaked me out - what on earth could have done that, and some bloke on Sky news said it was a technical malfunction - Yeah not half !! Im with Carolann, if they have been and had a look I bet they decided not to bother, either that or they p'd themselves laughing and went off again. Not a happy place is it at the moment Mind you be nice if they did come down and whisked all the politicians off would't it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D
