To save me going from shop to shop can anyone suggest just a CD player on its own - have two radios in the bedroom so really just want a SMALL compact cd player without anything else added to it and WITHOUT ear 'phones It's to put on my bedside table so has to look nice ;D Help ! I have looked on the internet but would prefer help from friends on the board - more reliable  |

We got one from Comet recently for the kitchen. It's their own brand and only cost about £20. The speakers are built in but you could add ear-phones if you wanted to.

currys? comets? argos? Tesco? pc world? all these are on-line stores as well as shops. most cd players come as radio/cd but I'm sure that you could find just a cd player somewhere. Not much help am I? sorry  |

I forgot about Argos I will try there FB I went on line Missy for eg for Currys and typed in search box "CD player" result was No search found The layout of this Thread gone a bit AWOL left hand side of col same size as the col for posting |

Success! - after Plocket suggested Comet I went in there and it was quite bare - shelves with nothing on them - is something going to happen there I wonder FB suggested Argos so popped into there and they had so much - have to say the designs are really masculine obviously a man designs these things I wanted something tasteful to put by my bed ;D In the end went for a Phillips CD/cassette player and when got home realised it had a wireless too  It's in silver so will match my tv ;D So shall we listening to Potting On in bed later - sigh bliss |

Very observant FB - I only noticed last night that yes it is white at the back - I really thought it was silver all over - looks very nice though have to say It has been worth the price as I had a budget of £12 and did go well over this - 3 times in fact Can get radio stations very clear and the controls are very easy to work - just a dial to turn Recommended |
