Morning everyone, the left hand side of the board is as big as the right hand side of the board at the moment. Very difficult to see whe whole of the thread if you've got your favourites stuck on. It's not good to look at either. Anyhow OM is aware of it as by now other admin staff most likely are too and hopefully it'll get sorted. I do hope so as it's very awkward. I thought it was me and that gremlins had come overnight but thankfully others are having the same problem. Are'nt you?  |

I've found a few odd things happening too LNG. I can't click on 'today' to go to the end of the thread and have to click on the thread name or last page number and then scroll down to the last post and there are strange symbols in places (I can see some under your 'today is another page in the book of life').  |

Yes I am aware of this problem. It may be due to the code applied yesterday which added Members' Skype addresses to their profile so I have removed that as a precaution.
Unfortunately I have been unable to reproduce the fault on my own screen so how is it looking now?

Thanks for all your hard work Spruance, It seems to be working ok now I'm happy to say. I don't know what a skpe address is and have no idea why it says skb in brackets after my quote. I think my huh? smilie has gone.

If any of you are still having problems then let us know - we in admin haven't had any problems at all so can only go on what you are all saying.
Proboards have done server updates today but this seems, as Spru says, to be a code problem.

I've just had a look on Support and there seems to be a few problems with an image servers - that could be the reason.

The problem with the Weather thread have been resolved - it was a "quoting" problem.
It used to be a problem when a thread had too many posts - this problem however was rectified when we updated to Version 4.5.
The support thread in the USA has 63,682 threads and 431,167 Posts at the moment. I think we have a long way to go.....

We have just increased the font size on the board which should make it easier for Members to find items of interest, especially anyone who, like me, is a little shortsighted. There is also the additional option to select a different posting font from the dropdown menu beneath 'Colors' (sic). |
