I set up a small business making and selling garden ornaments but made from concrete rather than resin.
I had literally thousands of moulds ranging from animals to buddahs to ballistrades to planters to birdbaths etc. I still have a couple of statues left at hime....i'll get a pic later.

Hey Andy. How did your concrete creatures business fare then? What were people interested in most? Little concrete hedgehogs, buddahs or ladies in various shapes of distress? I love those little dragons and gargoyls. I even seriously considered getting a sleeping baby dragon before my sense of kitch and garden no no kicked in. I suppose I would not be a good customer for you

Dutchy.....the business never really took off because 1) i still had a full time job which was very tiring, 2) i hurt my back and 3) im too damn lazy to run my own business !!!
Buddahs always sold well as did specialised animals ie people often collect pigs, elephants etc. I also sold a few Japanese temples and various funny wall plaques went well. fairies are gargoyles are always a winner too.
