They are all beautiful.
I like the purple one too Tig. I have never seen one before.
Tig was asking about the scent. I have only had mine just over a year so they are still comparatively small. The smell is subtle! Put it another way - I have to put my nose to it!

The smell is subtle! Put it another way - I have to put my nose to it! PJ I find that too PJ - people on the gardening progs often comment on its fragrance but I can scarcely smell it at all - very disappointing.

Well I am glad I am not alone in finding the scent elusive to say the least. The purple one starts out darker coloured too. It was the most expensive of them all, but with the Garden tokens I did not miss it. The book says they even come with almost black coloured flowers!

I once had a yellow one that smelled real strong but I found it pungent and unpleasant. Bit of a hint of eau de sewage. And that is probably why so many flies visited.
I love that pinkish orange first one. I am almost tempted to get another if it does not smell.

You know I'm really glad you've started this thread, they are really lovely but I always thought I was missing out on something r.e. the smell. It's good to know I'm not really. It's like when I bought one of my clematis and they said it had a delicate smell. I've yet to smell it and i've had it for years.
