Can anyone tell me who the French Man is who does the new Renault ad? I'm thinking he might be a racing car driver but I'm not sure.

We saw an ad the other day that OH and I thought was really funny. It was for new Birdseye salmon fish fingers, and I can't remember the wording but basically the new fishfinger "unzipped" to show that it was pink, and the two original fish fingers fainted. It sounds daft but it made us chuckle!!! ;D

the double glazing add where the chappie is shouting you buy one you get one free. I feel like planting one on his nose and telling him to shut up

It's bad enough that the add get's played on the radio, but seeing it on the TV drives me potty. The other question is, would you want to buy double-glazing from a man that looks slightly psychotic?

I have just seen a clever new ad for Twinings Tea. It starts off with a plain white background, then black "powder" scatters across it, and a pair of hands appears and, just with hands/fingers, makes a pair of eyes which transforms into a landscape with sun rising. Really clever stuff! i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/wink.gif

I like the ad for EDF featuring the 1948 Olympics - very nostalgic ( even though I was only a baby and can't remember them!!!)

That is a good one Auricula. Hard to believe they actually ran on a track made of peoples' fire ashes. I wonder if they had to take them along to the track or had a house-to-house collection!

Chuckles I watched a wildlife programme on those guys who use the birds to catch the fish for them. Did you know they put a wire around their necks to stop them swallowing the fish before the fishermen retrieve them? I can't watch the advert without thinking about it x Tig
