I always think there are far to many seeds in a packet for some of us small time sowers, even though we share lots of seeds on the board it would still be nice to buy smaller quantities and obviously cheaper packets. Just found this while having a mouch about for veg www.nickys-nursery.co.uk/seeds/pages/vegetable-seeds1.htm not sure if any other companies do this or if there are any for flowers too. UPDATE....If I hadn't been in such a rush to post this thread I'd have seen that Nickys also do trial size packets and smaller amounts of some flower seeds too ;D

I didn't know that there was such a thing as 'purple' tomatoes.
They are quite cheap for seeds too I though...will have to investigate further. ;D

Don't forget Alan Romans.... www.alanromans.com/Also, if you carefully reseal the foil packet (I use sellotape) they should be ok for next year too.

I've gotten from alan romans and found them very good value for money. I got sweet pea blue ripple, lemon basil beetroot bolthardy and white lisbon spring onions all for £3.20.
