Ok I have had me little “Milligan” time. The dark clouds have gone. The problem has not gone away I am just living with it! Suffice it to say it is not physical thing but just things going on in and around my life. I know what I am like at times like these, not good company at all! According to Mrs F I am a miserable senior person of disputed parentage!! So like Spike I took me self out of circulation till I got things straight in me mind. I have not been sat on me bum feeling sorry for me self. The fruit trees have been winter pruned, where needed and “washed”. I know its not kosher but I have always used Bordeaux mixture (that accident which proved so effective). Victoria has had her winter coat removed, just in time for the cold weather to re appear this w/e. Talking of which here are a couple of photos of me and Mrs F re affirming our vows on a frozen lake in Canada! The roses have been pruned, the usual 3D’s just to keep them healthy and within their bounds. The “prunings” or “cuttings” as I like to call them are in the ground each group at the base of the parent so as I knows who is what. The grasses have been lifted and divided has as Iris. The tatties are “chitting”, nearly said that wrong! They are all looking good for Easter. Had limited success with the over wintering broad beans, lost about a third to the weather, so another two rows are already in the ground. The trench has been primed waiting for the runners to be sown and all the other beds have been turned and fertilised Oh yes, joy upon joy I am now the proud owner of a half plot lottie! It is lovely to be back! Foz Is it me? Do I need me eyes testing? Or as all the print gone small?

Good to have you back on board Fozzter ;D It is you, the print is supposed to be bigger (I think) Spruance did something to the board, blame him Get updating your garden thread (how are your frozen broad beans doing), and start a new one for your half lottie so we can either gloat at how much hard work you have ahead of you, or be green with envy that you have got a lovely veggie plot ready made x Tig (you trying to pinch my saying ... below )

As for the half lottie I am not sure wot type of soil there is I cannot see it for weeds!!

BB,
Nice to hear from you again, I tell a little white lie those two people are our son and our new number 3 daughter, well 3A really cos like father like son he has traded in the first one for a younger version!!
I trust your miserable senior person. Is as unique and priceless to you as I to Mrs F. I think that what she means when she says "My God your priceless!"
Glad you got the roses done, whats in a name as long as you like them and they please you who cares. Everything here is starting to shoot. Just in time for that N wind to drop the temps to low single figures again. I have got a couple of weeks before Easter my traditional time for planting tatties. So may just have enough time to get the spud section ready. Failing that they go in late.

Fozzie it's great to hear from you, I thought you'd emigrated and could'nt get near a computer. ;D I'm sure the last I heard of you you were jetting away to far places. How great you've gotten a lottie, lots of work in store for you there I'm thinking, do keep us all up to date as Tig says. It seems you've been busy until now it's good to hear that preparation for summer has begun with you too.
