Rather remarkably I have just been helping someone in Missouri, USA to plant a rose via Skype video link! They're not gardeners, but they've followed my instructions very well, although I must say that it is very odd to be carried outside on their laptop and set down next to the planting hole whilst still holding a conversation and saying whether the hole is deep enough or not. On top of that I have also taken a photo of the relevant page of my RHS Encylopedia of Gardening and sent that to them also via Skype. This is all the more remarkable when you consider that they are almost 5000 miles away. Isn't technology wonderful?

Yes it is indeed amazing Spruance, I'll bet you feel a kind of attachment to that rose and will want to know how it gets on. ;D I've heard of Surgeons doing similar things with operations in different countries via links of some sort. Even wireless computers are above my comprehension now. And what about those backberries?

I'm not sure that they've done an operation for those yet Lady, but I'm sure they will eventually. ;D ;D How fab Spru!!!! A nice experiance! I've used it in the past for things in the UK and Spain, usually what do you think of this wallpaper type thing.
