Just for a larf, anyone fancy having a go at creating an Easter Bonnet .. No specific format or artistic flair required, anything that goes on yer head can be entered (just as long as it isn't rude!!) I am going to try and make something for my Grand-daughter' so it will be 'pretty'. Post your photos on this thread by midnight Good Friday (10th April) and I will set up a poll for members to vote for their favourite entry .. No prizes just the fun of taking part This is what my effort will be based on .. I will take a photo of the end result for my entry even if it is rubbish

Jasmine - what!!! Exchange Bonnet for Hat! Why can't your lads do an Easter Baseball Cap make-over? If it is raining this week it is an ideal project for the young uns ;D And a chance to learn a bit of history and celebrate nature .. www.bellaonline.com/articles/art29982.aspCreativity isn't an exclusive domain of the female gender (as Spruance has demonstrated ) Although I do wonder if you would let them raid the garden for a few fresh spring flowers Ha ha ha - Grand parents, great grandparents, aunties and uncles could show they still have a sense of traditional fun and ooomph too x Tig

I think they are all under-whelmed by your genius Spru and as I type - Penny is sculpting a bonnet from snow, TT is decorating a wonderful carribean creation, Steves will no doubt have a head of Guiness on it, Isabella will have real flowers, Amo will have a pheasant shoot, Ruthie (although not making one) is painting one, Jas's twins have clipped the dog and will be showing their bearskins (or in their case dog-skins), FB has been busy making one in Claret with his very own goalposts, FA has a dinky model car glued to a baseball cap, Barbara just has a large bowl of daffs on her head, Andy has one made from un-used decking, 4P has an orgasmic (sorry organic) version, CPB has a personal tardis hat ... I could go on ;D Obviously they are all waiting until the last minute to post their entries to avoid others copying their ideas

Well done Jas Finished mine - not quite what I had in mind but I made the effort (It will probably fall apart as soon as it goes on her head!) x Tig
