I have this growing in a pot in the garden...not sure what it is....am I tenderly cutivating a weed? It is about 3 feet tall.

herb garlic (can't find the latin name of it but don't think it's the lunaria).....wildflower ?, weed ? plant ? the choice is yours. They're ok growing in a wildflower area but it's not something i would have in my herbaceous border....they do seed everywhere too.
take a leaf and give it a good crush...aroma de garlic !!!!

Hmmm, just found one growing in the alley down the road and crushed it and couldn't smell garlic !!!!....maybe it only smells at certain times such as when in seed. It's not a strong smell but you know it's there.
Anyways, ive always known it as herb garlic but a google search didn't help much.

I tried it this morning and yes it did smell of garlic...thanks....will now move the pot to somewhere that it won't re-seed itself until I get my new compost bin and then in it will go.. ;D

since I moved the pot that it's in it now looks like it is dying......
It was in the flower bed but now on the path still in the pot though.

Thank you Amo...as soon as my compost bin arrives it will go in it...... have just been out and had a look at it and it seems to be shrivelling.
