Yup. 126 behind and without Duckett’s innings it would have been really poor. Disappointing.

I wonder if the reliance on Root’s bowling is affecting his batting. He’s not a natural all rounder like a Botham or a Kallis.

Yes,we wondered that. His bowling has been more effective of late but we needed him to stay with Duckett for far longer

Yes,even though they were missing top players they were too good for us. Should let Lawrence, Atkinson et al have a go in the last test ( but they won't drop rest Bairstow 😡
