Just a few pics of the garden and conservatory....no real category to put them in so i started a new thread i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/tongue.gif Conservatory window sill....middle is one of my new daturas (i hate the word brugwhateveritsnameis) Just been potted and growing really well. This is the large (10-12') yellow datura. On the right is a red banana and the left is one of the black colocasia Some of the Toms im growing...they've been superb this year. These are cherry toms. Some of the exotics being grown on. Peppers and chillies on the right, my new cestrum nocturnum (now with flower buds ;D) in the middle and the other datura on the right....dark rosetta (deep pink) Something ive never grown before....Cleome, vicious little swines but well worth it Some of the Ricinus i grew from seed....these beasts are awesome and well worth it if you have the space Marigold, Durango red (T&M). Probably the most intense red marigold ive ever seen with large flowers. If anyone is a marigold fan, i'd strongly recommend growing the Durango range next spring. Last but not least, my sweetpeas. Picked two large vasefulls last night and they smell devine

ooo andy - why do you do this to me....look at it all - fantastic as usual.
Did you grow the Cleome - I have never been able to get one to germinate yet!! Those Tagetes look rather fetching don't they - the red Durango appeals to me a lot - well they all do.
In the last pic is that an Alocasia and if so, do Alocasis's have babies just like Colocasia's??? It is really something isn't it.

I pinched the cleome from work so cheated a bit....i just fancied having a go with it and im not disappointed i tell thee.
Yeah, the last one is an alocasia. Never grown them before but i think they're similar to the colocasia. I used to use a lot of the alocasia amazonica when i did interior landscaping and they were superb....but very tender !!!!

Hi carolann....yep, easy-peasy to grow from seed. I had 6 seeds of one variety and 6 of another and i had 11 germinate !!!. They are grown as annuals although i do believe they will come up each year if protected but as they're so quick growing, it hardly seems worth it. Thanks for the comments guys

I've been back to this about four times already! Just gorgeous Andy, and some more on my list for next year too if I can find them locally. This gets from me! Marigold, Durango red (T&M). Probably the most intense red marigold ive ever seen with large flowers. If anyone is a marigold fan, i'd strongly recommend growing the Durango range next spring. x Tig
