Hi all, Something has aflicted my favourite Geranium. Not sure what its called but it usally has bright lime gren foliage followed by a mass of light blue flowers. But this year this has happened !! I have never seen any bugs on it. Usally this plant is trouble free. There are flower stalks starting to grow but not very many. Can anyone help ? Regards James

I'm not sure either James but it looks to me as though it could be rust (fungus disease)... if it is a systematic fungicide could possibly help.

I cant say what it is but there are a lot of holes in the leaves could be a bug attack as well as something else. I hope you find out what it is soon Mr G. I would cut it down to the ground now and see what the seond flush of growth shows.

Oooooer it don't look good does it I'd be inclined to chop it back like SO said and see what happens with the regrowth.

I was thinking about thay. I cant see and munch holes, only these little brown spots. The plant leaves look very motley aswell.

Looks like rust to me - give it the chop and see what happens ( spray first for a belt and braces approach )
