Any of you gardeners foliar feed at all ?. I use a small 1 litre hand sprayer to spray the leaves on some of my exotics such as daturas and cestrum as well as fuchsias, peppers, chillies and gingers.
So i was thinking about adding a very small amount of miracle grow to the sprayer but as i spray over 2 or 3 times a day, im not sure if it would be too much.
Any comments ?
TIA

I folia feed my shrubs but not regularly or often . About every 6 weeks for large rhodos etc and fortnightly for fuchsias and daturas. Don't know if it helps, but it hasn't harmed them ;D

Something I've never thought of doing Andy. Wouldn't mind finding out about it though, like, do you have to use special feed to use as a foliar feed

Don't know chuckles...i always thought you could foliar feed with miracle grow but i couldn't find it on the box....although i only had a quick browse. I always used to foliar feed with liquid seaweed when i looked after the palm house on Brighton parks but this was more of a tonic rather than a major feed. Hopefully more people can comment

I use the sequestered (??sp) iron diluted as a foliar feed for the rhodo and heathers, and the camellia will be getting some too.
I have never sprayed plants with miracle grow, but the leaves usually get wet when I water with it.
I usually follow the instructions on the packets.
