I have a gorgeous Cherry tree by my back door which is laden with the most luscious and large fruit. It's a reasonably small tree, about 18 years old and I wondered if anyone had any idea which one it is. It was given to me as a bare root years ago so I have no clue (the giver was sold it as an Apple tree!)....the nearest I have seen is the 'Stella' one but the fruit isn't quite the same colour...people keep asking me which it is so they can buy one.......we are quite popular atm......that's how delicious they are.... ;D

I hate to say so, but I am very slightly sick of cherries...............I've made jam, pies, we've eaten zillions off the tree and I've given buckets away......still quite a few left too........
