I am looking for something to replace my dear departed plastic walk in greenhouse and cannot decide what to go for. I have two young daughters so a full greenhouse is not an option at the minute - risk of damage and not enough time! I am dithering between something like this www.selections.com/GF5945/plant-house/or one of these www.selections.com/GF2113/lean-to-greenhouse/(not necessarily from that site) I don't have a lot of time at the minute and was using the old one for tomato plants and cucumbers, although would like to grow peppers but they always die on me! It would go on the side wall of the house so would be facing south and in sun for most of the day if that makes any difference. A house down the road has one so will ask him how hot etc his gets Jardack

Hi chuckles given the 2 options I wouls go for the lean 2 as it would give you a fair bit of floor space to keep pots and you can put shelving up on 2 sides and maybe put some storage shelves on the wall. .

Beanie - def a good idea re the leanto one Just got to find the right one at the right price now! JArdack

Jardack sorry to hear of your troubles with your plastic greenhouse. I've had one for a few years and last year lost a lot of plants when it all toppled over. I'm still using it but now have some bags of sods/soon to be loam and some bricks stablilising it. Good luck with your shopping.

Beanie- - the odd thing is the plastic is fine but the poles are all bent Still will be able to use most of them as staging in my nice new one (once I have decided which I am getting)...

I've been searching for a good quality cold frame. The ones I've had have never lasted more than a few years. It's a really difficult thing to find and I don't really want to buy on line as I want to feel it and check the mechanical bits ( they're always the bits that seem to let you down)
