The leaves look the right shape and it's growing habit so far, but then my head shouted grape vine, 'cos I can see tiny hairs on the leaves .. not much help am I Chuckles ;D x Tig

Well I'd have said exactly the same as you have both said but it's actually one of these www.browseinfo.net/cotton.html it's related to the hollyhock apparently. I was given the plant and one seed head by a friend. Not sure how to grow them from seed but if anyone wants to try one just for a bit of fun I'd be happy to send seed.
