What a rotten shame!!!

As you all know it is summer.....no I'm not having you on...it is really and truly summer.

So, why does my garden look like this...

I haven't seen this rose flowering this year at all - the first buds were eaten and the second lot....





and some plants think it is autumn already....can't say that I blame them.

Here is the lovely cluster of buds on my Blue Moon ..



and this is a fan lobelia rotting at the roots before it even got to flower



I have had some other very sorry looking specimens around the garden which I have tidied up as best I can .. even one of the branches on my budd was snapped off this morning ...

August is going to be much better (if not the whole of summer will have been a washout!)
