No I'm not talking footie, cricket or golf But plants which revert or mutate, and seedlings that are not as expected. I am of course enthused by the prospect of a possible 'pink' climbing Iceberg rose (recently posted on the rose thread), but I often notice odd stems and branches on shrubs etc. Plus seeds, hmmm - not always what we expect to get! I have a pink astilbe, nice pale fluffy thing it is .. however a seedling from it has produced a completely different flower colour and shape, almost luminous pink and straight spires .. and my saved seed from the Italian White Sunflowers (which were lemon rather than white last year) have produced a giant lemon monster this year, which is rather beautiful IMHO ;D If you have anything 'different' or 'odd' that fits this thread please share x Tig

I was reading your iceberg querie and Foz's answer with interest Tig. I'd never heard that term sport before. No pictures to post at the moment but this should be an interesting thread.
