Thank you one and all, I knew you would not let me down. The photo of the Cherry Plum Flowers cliched it. So Cherry plum (Prunus cerasifera, syn. P. divaricata), also called Myrobalan (plum) it is then.
That will be a draw then, which is normally the best I am allowed to achieve.
Both Type 2 so off to look for sugar free Cherry Plum Jam recipe. (I will confess to eating a couple and nice they were too.)
