I really enjoy watching this and if I miss it on Saturday night then it is always on during the week
Even tho some of the sob stories are really over the top and encourage votes I still enjoy the whole show
It is light entertaining without violence or swearing and you can just lie back and let it wash all over you without having to concentrate

I don't normally watch this but my son was visiting at the weekend and recorded it.  We sat and watched it on Sunday and I have to say that I almost wet myself watching the French guy  I now see that he has has hundreds of 'hits' on You Tube. He was soooo bad..... |

I like it, but I am finding the auditions a lot harder to watch this year. I think there are too many "bad" singers put through, ones who are absolutely dire and are only through so that the GBP can point and laugh  I can't see how/why so many of their friends and family can encourage them to go on shows like this to get the micky taken like that - there is no way on this planet I'd let me kids be humiliated like that... But I do like the shows from boot camp onwards  |

I still think a lot of it is contrived - as Missy says the French guy was just so so bad - how could he come over here especially for XF - surely he has friends who could be honest with him  Boot Camp is much better JD I agree there ;D |

I do usually either watch it or catch up with it on one of the repeats. When it's on against Strictly I'll watch Strictly. I do preferr to watch it when they've gotten to Boot Camp stage 'tho.

Cheryl is very pretty but she is so skinny, she looks all skin and bones which surely can't be healthy...

Am green with envy about Cheryl too but Vanessa Feltz was really bitchy about her in the paper the other day - saying most of her is false - doesnt matter if it is it looks good
One of the contestants last night was totally brilliant - forger her name - but brought tears to my eyes as she sang her song but sadly had a sob story which I dont think fair to the others
However she was awesome have to say

I am sure they always put an older person through to bootcamp - wasn't it two last year....
Probably to show they are not being ageist! even tho the world and his wife know they have no chance of reaching the live shows.

Well all the candidates have been chosen for Boot Camp
I am surprised at some of the choices have to say but I really like the guy with the Afro - he has such a nice personality

I am surprised at the choices for the Quarter Finals-because there does not seem to be one contestant that stands out.
It seems unbeleivable that out of the thousands of entries we have such a poor line-up.

Agree with you there Biggy - I thought Shanna would be picked and even thought she could win, not even in Boot Camp
I think the new way of doing things have caused the programme to lose the plot a bit
Putting everyone together in groups of three on stage didnt give some a good showcase and they lost out
The two brothers are dreadful but so cute - I think Louis thinks they could win <shriek>
