I was thinking about that LG. Apparently the powers that be are going to discuss...again ...about whether we should just leave the clocks to prevent so many children being hurt in car accidents on dark mornings. This comes up in the news every year.

Thanks LG. Don't forget that to change the clock settings on GWD you need to click on profile under the GWD banner, then Modify Profile in the resulting window, and scroll down to the section headed Dates and Times. Ensure that Currently Observing DST is set to No and then scroll down to the bottom left corner and click Modify Profile to accept the change. That's all there is to it.

The worst one I have to deal with is the JVC video recorder downstairs. Strangely it doesn't get used much these days and after staring blankly at the handset for five minutes I cheated and took out the batteries. The Sony video upstairs changes itself. Why can't all devices do that? i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/grin.gif

Am I the only person who actually looks forward to the clocks going back ? The older I get, the more I look forward to the Autumn & Winter months.

I enjoied this morning being nice and bright but that lasted for a couple of hours at most. Dark days and long nights I hate the winter time. I wish I could hibernate.

Yes I am wth Auricula. I don't like the dark evenings at all, especially in the depths of winter in December if it is bad weather and it starts to get dark at 14:30

What a great idea - why did they change it? Double summer time would still mean light mornings (but an hour later with the dawn chorus ;D) and long late evenings I guess.
