How come they're called "Smileys" in the title of this thread but were "Smilies" in the title of the Hallowe'en one ? Sorry, I've obviously nothing better to do  I'll get me coat ;D FA x |

That would be my fault then! i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/wink.gif I usually tend to use the Smiley variant but the common online (and doubtless Americanised) preference seems to be Smilie, so the two are interchangeable and using both search options usually yields more er.... smile thingeys. i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/grin.gif It's a bit like the similarity between the words pedant and peasant!  |

I didnt like to say anything I notice a few spellin errors on this Board but I shant mention anything to FB  I suppose when you want to use the plural you would use the smilie version viz smilies rather than smileys unless it is something belonging to the smiley then it would be smiley's Going to get my coat too FA and join you ;D |

This is the latest information from the Admin at Proboards Support... "It appears to be some kind of connection/network issue between your location and ISP, and our servers.
