Terribly slow - I almost gave up at one point Good job I'm listening to the cricket, with nothing else to do or I would have thrown the computer through the window ;D

I am on Firefox and everything is fine - no problems whatsoever.
I switched to Internet Explorer and I slowed down to a near stop. There do not seem to be any issues on Support at all, however.
I can only advise always having two browsers installed and clearing all your cache on a regular basis...it has certainly helped me throughout the years.

Thanks guys, I'm on firefox too at the moment as it's usually quicker than IE but it's so very slow this evening. Perhaps I'll try doing a bit of a clean up and also try IE to see how I get on.

LG - when did you last do a defrag, or a virus scan etc.??
I put my PC through it's "paces" once a week - everything, and I clear my cache everyday even.

Yes it does - no problem.
Go onto IE and it also clears FF.

EDIT: Make sure that you clear you Cookies and go onto "Windowsspuren" - Dateien Ordner - Temp Dateien. Amazing what you get rid of.

I love cleaning my puter - getting rid of the cookies and temp internet files should be done weekly really ;D

But do I want to get rid of Temp Dateien that I don't know for sure are OK to clear?

"Temp" files can always be got rid of...simply put they are doubles of others files...you can not do anything wrong by getting rid of them...
RF
EDIT: Also, Malware/Spyware love to attach themselves to"temp" files to slow your PC down and send nasties all over the place.
