Can anyone who uses there two ,in conjunction, please help? When the photos are transferred from the camera to KES, they just appear as a new album, with date, on the KES site. PB doesn't allow for this option, so, obviously the photos/album has to be copied elsewhere ( eg. documents). How is that done, please? I have repeatedly tried, but with little success. I did, somehow, manage to transfer a few photos, from the "tray" to somewhere, and then onto PB, but I can't remember how I did it,or where they went to. Some clever soul must know what to do....please.

Have you checked whether they appear in "My Pictures" as well? Both my Sony and Canon applications get the photos off the camera and they are stored there but they are also in pictures and can be viewed using Windows photo gallery. They can also be easily uploaded to photobucket from there.

I have just been playing around with the online version of Kodak Easyshare and rather oddly, in view of the product name, photos may only be shared with named individuals. I have emailed myself a link to an uploaded test image but this is presented in a slide show format, rather than a postable link.
So back to the question, I have also viewed a You Tube tutorial on Kodak EasyShare (qv: ).
In essence it is just a simplified photo management tool, with your photos being stored in albums/folders. Since you can drag and drop (cut and paste) the album folders into the picture tray, it also follows that you should be able to drag and drop the folders onto your desktop as well (or anywhere else on your PC come to that).
So I think that is the best option. Drag or copy and paste your photos to your desktop and then upload from there to Photobucket.

Auricula when I save to KES I automatically get a folder onto my desktop with whatever pics I've just uploaded. I don't know if Jenny maybe set some kind of default to do that when she lived with me or not. That's how I can then open the folder and upload to pb. Hope Spru's link was of more help.

Thanks LG, perhaps you can ask Jenny, if that's what she did and if so, how she did it? It doesn't happen to me I will try what Spruance suggests - I think that's more or less what I did by accident when I posted my last pictures ( the first pics were from a folder "old photos" that our tecchie made when we swapped to Vista, as it wouldn't recognise stuff from XP!!!). It was very fiddly but it does seem one way forward - I hope I'd hate to have cracked PB and then not be able to access it

So many times on the pc I end up doing things Auricula and have no idea how I did them. It really does my head in at times. I'll see what I can do. We can't have you loosing your pics of your lovely garden now that we've all found them. ;D

Just going off Thread a tad here but has anyone tried Smilebox - it is really good and you can send friends and family your photos in a very unusual and fun way ;D

I've had a bit of a look at Spru's video it's very good and I'll actually look at it properly when I have time, have an appointment this morning. I can't think of anything except when I connect camera to pc a box comes onto the screen. a box comes up which asks me to select destination, this is it creating an album. It usually defaults to that days date. Then the proper screen for KES software page loading appears. Then it just adds them and shows them on the left hand side as last added. Without me doing anything a little album appears on the desktop. I will be chatting to Jenny this evening and see if she can come up with anything for you. Do hope you get it all sorted.

Look at it this way Auricula, you cannot break PB, you probably can't break your own pc just by trying stuff out , so keep playing around until you get it right, that was how I learned to do pics. and most of us are still learning stuff, on my desk top I have a folder called 'shortcut to my pictures, ' and thats where PB gets them from when I upload pictures. (I think)

Go to Photobucket, choose Albums and Uploads if the Upload screen doesn't come up itself. Click Upload Images and Videos. A window will open showing the folders on your computer. Click Computer on the list at the left. Double click Local Disc (probably C). Double click Users. Look for your username, eg: Auricula. Double click taht, then double click pictures. All the files that you have loaded from your camera should be here. Click on a picture file and choose Open. That should work.

I'd forgotten about clicking albums and uploads on photobucket. It does make things a lot easier.
