Errrrrrr ... no ;D I saw him on Andrew Marrs prog this morning, he seems to have become more 'aged' and has a beer belly and blond hair now ... he said the music isn't chosen by him and will be the same as Terry played. It is the Irish dulcet tones that can't be replaced - otherwise it doesn't seem like there will be much of a difference. I like Moira Stewart - so may listen in just to hear her x Tig

I wake up with sara kennedy at 6-30, hubby brings me tea in bed and I listen to the radio, while I'm getting sorted out, so I always have radiio 2 on in the mornings, I don't mind Chris's evening show, but I don't know if it will be a bit LOUD for mornings, mind you Jonny Walkers not exactly a shrinking violet when he stands in for el- tel ;D

I can't be doing with music at stupid o'clock in the morning, whoever is presenting it so it's 5Live breakfast for me. News, sport, weather & travel is about all I can cope with !

I have to have peace and quiet in a morning but I did listen to Sara Kennedy a while ago
She is just what is needed at an early hour
In the warmer weather I sit outside until time to go to work and prefer to listen to the birds anyday than the wireless ;D

I hate music radio. I only listen to Radio 4 or BBC 7. I don't dislike Chris Evans but he is very 1990s to me. Still, as I don't even know where to find Radio 2 it won't bother me ;D

If I listen to the radio at all it's Classic FM.

I like peace and quiet in morning too Jenny but I listen to Southern FM when I am in the car and we tune to Magic if we get close enough to London to pick it up on our travels. Listening to Terry Wogan takes me back years to when my Dad drove me to Tonbridge to school - he liked playing the Floral Dance and talked about Dallas a lot (Terry - not my Dad) ;D

I heard a bit of it on my way to work, it was ok - not as manic as I thought. I just dont like him I'll stick with it tho because I like the radio on while I am driving and our local radio stations are the most godawful crap you ever did hear! Lesser of two evils ;D

I don't think it's just yours KL I think part of the remit of local radio is that it has to be absolutely dire

I can get Magic here Jasmine. Is it a London based station Classic FM is nice in the car - keeps the road rage at bay Smooth FM (used to be called Jazz FM)- there are two versions - one London or North always a good selection of soul played Radio 4 - for the plays and the Archers Galaxy Radio or Kiss radio - when I want to shreak out ;D

I thought so Jenny although I know from our travels up the M1 it picks up better North of London than South.

You are lucky - that was one thing I missed quite a lot after we moved down here. Southern FM isn't bad - really funny mix of 3 folk who present the breakfast show so it's ok for the drive to work.
