I scattered/sowed a Flutterby mix and a wild flower mix in a border today a few hundred seeds i think. Ive taken the precaution of putting down a few slug pellets as well. Anyone else tried these kind of mixes before? If it all grows it should look great

Hi Steve, my sister used a blue and white mix last year which was stunning - lots of it has self seeded itself too

My neighbour sets aside a piece of garden every year for some wild flowers - she has had a beautiful mini-meadow some years, although last year for some reason it was almost all yellow. My daughter has bought a large box to scatter on half of her garden - I hope it does well and attracts lots of buzzies

I have a tube of these too...am waiting for the bulbs to die down a bit before I start to scatter them.

Something I've never had much luck with have tried several times with various mixes and they never come to much. I always get some to germinate but just end up with a few straggly bits and bobs, not sure what I do wrong.
