Mine have just started with the flowers. I'd put them into window boxes this year with some fresh compost and chicken pellets. I don't have them on the windowledge 'tho. They get more sunshine where they are. i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/wink.gif There is what seems to be a good offer in this months GWM of 10 free strawberry plants with only P&P to pay. I think I might go for it as I was thinking I need new plants this year.

Those flowers have a pink Hue Isabella, what variety are they. Looks like you'll be having a right good crop.

Missy, if there are a lot of fruit then I pinch out some of them so that the others can grow bigger and sweeter.

If you have 3 or 4 flowers on one plant, and 2 are small pinch them off to let the others grow bigger, or have 4 small ones if you prefer. ;D

Your strawberries look smashing Isabella. We had our first strawberries from the garden yesterday. I was surprised the blackbirds hadn't found them first!

How very strange Isabella I don't think they'd go down too well for the commercial growers would they.
