What do you think of the two olympic mascots, I'm of the opinion they are Rubbish,  I can only remember one nice one and that was the Russian bear ''Mishka''. |

They're supposed to be blobs of molten steel left over from the making of something or other - wasn't listening properly. Was it the Olympic Stadium They look like Japanese cartoon characters. |

They're fine - at least they're something different from the usual animal rubbishy characters.

I found a site yesterday that explained all the symbolism - one of them is wearing 5 friendship bracelets the colours of the 5 Olympic rings.

They're about as good as the "2012" logo that looks a little bit like Lisa Simpson giving someone a blow job (think of the "0" of 2012 as Lisa Simpson's head and you'll see what I mean !!) ;D
Went past the Olympic stadium on the train yesterday. Still a lot of work to do on the site before it's ready but it's really starting to take shape.

No doubt some bright spark got paid a fortune to come up with it - Our Jake could have drawn them a couple of blobs for half the price - he excels at blobs he could probably have coloured them in aswell ;D |
