I asked wtflip she was talking about and apparently it's a saying that goes "don't let a ha'penth of tar spoil the ship". In other words, finish the job properly or it'll ruin the rest of the work.

Nah, not good being my age at the moment. Retirement age creeping up... I'll be working until I'm 90 at this rate. That's if I haven't fallen apart by then.
Nearly 30 (well, 7 months time) and done bugger all with my life so far. Apart from starting this degree in October and finding a wonderful fella that is ;D

My sister started her nursing degree type thing in her mid/late thirties. But she had been married 3 times and had 4 kids by then. Actually, she was a grandma by then...
