I planted a water lily in my new pond a couple of months ago and it was doing well, with a couple of flowers but it has now lost most of its leaves and there are only a couple of small new ones. I installed some small goldfish and shubunkins a few weeks ago. Do they damage plants? If not, any suggestions as to the cause?

I've got a couple of lilies in my pond FG but I can't say that I have ever seen where my fish have eaten any of it. Not really sure what the answer is

I don't know nuffink - but I did read that fish and lilies don't mix....apparently one eats the other

Could be just settling down in a new pond and will do better next year. I presume it's in the right depth of water?
